The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office is asking witnesses to a crash in Cresaptown come forward. On May 1st Deputies with the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office responded to McMullen Hwy, Cresaptown, MD for a reported motor vehicle collision. As a result 86 year old Mary Lanore Taylor of Cumberland was flown to Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Taylor succumbed to her injuries on May 7th, 2021. The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who may have witnessed this crash to call 301-777-5959. This matter remains under investigation by the Allegany County Sheriff’s Crash Team.
