ACPS Gets Funding from Northop Grumman

Allegany County Public Schools recently received a charitable donation from Northrop Grumman for $8,500 to assist the Girls Who Code and Robotics programs. The funding will be used to purchase up-to-date Lego Spike kits for use in classrooms in grades K-5. The kits will introduce students to coding, programming, and designing robots. The remaining funds will be used to support the Girls Who Code programs in the four ACPS middle schools. The GWC programs run during the After School programs and are open to anyone. ACPS appreciates Northrop Grumman’s continued support of STEM programs.
