One person is dead after a crash on I-70 in Washington County. According to MSP officials at 10:34 this morning Troopers from the Maryland State Police- Hagerstown Barrack were dispatched to the area of I-70 East of Rt. 65 in Washington County, MD for a fatal motor vehicle collision. Preliminary investigation revealed, the driver of a Toyota Tacoma was traveling E/B I-70 prior to Rt. 65 in lane #1. The driver attempted to change lanes into lane #2. While changing lanes the vehicle struck an SUV. The driver then over corrected and drove through the median and stuck a Dump truck head on. The driver who was not yet identified was deceased at the scene.
