C3I Officials are investigating after a man is found dead in his vehicle. According to C3I Friday, March 4th at approximately 5:05 P.M., Officers from the Cumberland City Police Department, and members of the Cumberland Fire Department responded to the 300 block of Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, Allegany County, Maryland for a report of an unconscious subject in a motor vehicle. Upon officer’s arrival, it was determined that the subject was deceased. Investigators from the C3I Criminal Investigative Unit were contacted and a joint investigation was initiated. The deceased was identified as being 36 year old male from Oldtown, Maryland and next of kin was notified. Numerous interviews were conducted and the scene was processed by the Maryland State Police Crime Lab.The deceased was transported to the Maryland State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. No foul play is suspected in the death and the case remains under investigation.
